In this entry, I will walk you through how to get started with Canva, how to access your new templates, and briefly touch on how to use them.
This article is NOT a complete how-to guide on Canva. If you are looking for more information on using the program, please visit the tutorials section on the Canva website to learn all you need to know!
CANVA is an online graphic design platform that allows you to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content for your business.
If you have never used Canva before – don’t worry. Canva is explicitly created for non-designers and small business owners who want a budget-friendly solution for their business needs.
You can sign up for Canva by visiting the website www.canva.com.
There is a free and pro version available, so choose whichever best suits your needs—these templates will work with either version. You do NOT need to have a paid Canva subscription to use these templates.
*Please note that it is best to use the desktop version when editing the templates and not the mobile app.
When you purchase one of my products, you will receive a downloadable PDF that includes links to your templates. When you click the download buttons provided, they will direct you to a web page similar to the image below.
On this page you will find another button that says “Use this Template.” Click this button to access your brand new template(s) within Canva!
You may be prompted to sign up or log in.
It’s time to start editing your new templates!
Add your own creative flair and customize your new templates with your branding, photos, and graphics using Canvas’s easy-to-use design platform.

Be as creative as you want, and most importantly, have fun!
Once you finish editing your templates and are satisfied with your new designs, it’s time to download your completed files.
Go to the top right-hand corner of your screen on the Canva platform and click the button that reads “Share.” A dropdown menu containing a number of options will appear.
Choose “Download” and select the file type you wish to save from the dropdown menu (PDF, JPG, PNG, etc.) When you hit the “Download” button, you will be prompted to select a location on your computer where you wish to save your files.
The photos are for display purposes only. The idea is for you to add your own personal photos or product images, OR choose from thousands of images that are available for free use through Canva!
You must personalize your templates with your own photos and branding and then save them as JPGs (or any other file format) once you are finished editing.
Your templates are digital products only, meant for you to print out at home for FREE (if applicable). BUT, If you would like to order professionally printed copies of your product, you can do so through the Canva platform at an additional charge, or through another print company of your choice.
If you do not wish to print your business cards at home or through the Canva platform, an alternative and affordable option would be to print them through a third party such as Vistaprint or Moo – links below.
Please note that these templates are for one (1) personal or business account use ONLY. You may NOT redistribute, share or sell them as templates in any way or form. This includes making changes to the template and trying to redistribute, share or sell afterwards.
Because of the nature of digital products, no refunds, exchanges, edits, or cancellations are available.
